On the 13th of October 2009, we are organising a career day focusing on alternatives to the straight academic research career which statistically will be the direction for a majority of us.
We will invite a range of probably six speakers from science writing and publishing, pharma and consulting, as well as research funding and patent law.
The format will be one of discussion rathern than a long presentation to allow for more questions, comments, and input from the audience.
