International Science Slam

Flatworms and fruitflies on stage

Five international slammers from institutes of the research alliance DRESDEN-concept will present their research projects in Dresden's city center on 23 May 2016 from 7pm. Who was funniest, most entertaining, and made science really accessible? The audience will choose the winner of this open-air science slam. We'll keep our fingers crossed for two slammers from the MPI-CBG: Anna Bajur (Poland) from the Knust Lab on cell polarity, and James Cleland (Australia) from the Rink Lab on regeneration.

The presentations are framed by the Dresden band "bergen". Parts of the slam will be held in English, and, of course, it's free admission!
