Gene Myers and Pavel Tomancak were elected EMBO members

Gene Myers, director and research group leader at the MPI-CBG and the Center for Systems Biology Dresden, and Pavel Tomancak, research group leader at the MPI-CBG, are newly elected members of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), as recognition of their research excellence and outstanding achievement in the life sciences. Congratulations!

With the lifelong EMBO membership, Gene Myers and Pavel Tomancak join more than 1700 of the best researchers in Europe and around the world who apply their expertise and insight to guide EMBO initiatives and thereby collectively influence the future directions of life science research and strengthen research communities across Europe.
