Who is the champion of regeneration research? Which materials make furniture float? How can books that are falling apart be made available online? And what is this tactile internet?

An exhibition in the city center, located on Dresden Neumarkt, provides information on the latest research results of the DRESDEN-concept partners with large-scale stand-up displays, movies, interactive elements for all age groups and texts in German and English. The MPI-CBG contributed texts on how planarians can be used for regeneration research and why Drosophila melanogaster is a perfect model organism to study the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases like Retinitis pigmentosa and blindness.

The exhibit is open 24/7, in any weather, and it's free of charge!
