From 18 – 29 August 2014, the first EMBO Practical Course on Light-Sheet Microscopy will take place at the MPI-CBG. It features a number of outstanding speakers and lots of practical exercises. Light-Sheet Microscopy is an emerging technology that enables multidimensional imaging of living biological specimens with minimal photo-damage. It can also be used for imaging of fixed and cleared samples. It opens new avenues to study biological processes with unprecedented imaging speed. This EMBO Practical Course will comprehensively introduce the Light-Sheet Microscopy paradigm to the new generation of scientists
