Celebration day for the Mateus lab, cheering to the first research paper of the lab, a team effort led by Jannick, Lucas’ and Rita’s review on tissue growth control, and Vinita’s masters graduation! To celebrate, a nice little piñata party awaited our brave scientists.
Third year edition of the REWE team challenge for the Mateus lab! The Fishful Thinking team composed by Rita, Catarina, Sylvia and Elisa competed in the 5km run, each of them improving their previous times. We keep our brains fit in the lab, and our bodies fit on the run ;)
Exciting and bright future for the Mateus lab. Rita won the HFSP Early Career Grant for the project “MetaCrystal: Metabolic principles of intracellular crystallization”. PhD and Postdoc positions will be advertised soon, stay tuned!
