Software development

The TDS actively develops and maintains software to analyse both images and their resulting data

  1. KNIME HCS tools are modules necessary for analyzing screening data with KNIME. These include plate viewers, normalization algorithms, population analysis node, quality control methods etc
  2. To enhance the flexibility of KNIME, several scripting languages have been integrated into KNIME (R, Python, Matlab) to rapidly develop code and generate a GUI for non-computer literate scientists. Many templates are maintained for special plotting functions, statistical testing, distance measures etc.
  3. Several ImageJ / FIJI macros (FIJI-Tools-for-HCS) are maintained that are useful for working with images from automated microscopes (PerkinElmer Opera, Yokogawa CV7000) including pre-processing and analytical tools
