Project Description

We are developing a multi-view, multi-illumination selective plane microscope. We aim at imaging C. elegans and D. melanogaster embryogenesis at unprecedented spatial and temporal resolution. Our microscope will use advanced optics, including a custom designed line of immersion objectives, in combination with high performance software which will allow for controlling the microscope hardware.

We developed both the optics and the mechanics for our custom objective.
For the design of our microscope, we used extensively 3D mechanical CAD and optical simulation programs.
