The successful candidate will manage lab data policies and oversee specific research projects to support the Hyman Lab. This is a full-time position for a one-year project-based period.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare a comprehensive "Data Handling Book" for new lab members to ensure compliance with data handling guidelines.
- Develop a "Training Program" to onboard and train lab members in effectively using Labfolder software.
- Improve existing data management software by coordinating with scientists and technical staff to enhance user experience (e.g., search engine, structure, sign-in).
- Integrate software systems to streamline inventory management.
- Organize and structure individual file servers to standardize nomenclature and ensure effective data organization.
- Organize regular project meetings and ensure smooth coordination and consistent data tracking between team members.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain up-to-date project web pages.
Your Profile
- A university degree in biological sciences, bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience in data and project management within a research/industry environment.
- Proficiency with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively teams.
- Familiarity with research projects related to biomolecular condensates or similar topics is a plus.
