    Medical Care

    If you need medical treatment, the first call is to a local resident doctor. To find a doctor’s practice please consult the list of English-speaking doctors. The doctors’ practices marked green have been recommended by fellow expats. Note: This list is not inclusive and no liability is assumed for either its completeness or accuracy. Any changes or recommendations you may have are always appreciated (iompi-cbg.de)

    The practices are closed in the evening and on weekends or holidays. For treatment outside of opening hours, there is an emergency service. It is located in the University Hospital, House 28, Ground Floor.

    Monday - Friday                  7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
    Weekend, Holidays              8:00 am - 11:00 pm 

    During the night hours you should go to an emergency room, also located in the University Hospital and other hospitals in Dresden.
