Two MPI-CBG teams will join the REWE team challenge

Two teams of the MPI-CBG will be part of the REWE Team Challenge, a 5 km run through Dresden's city center: A Bioinformatics Team with Ian Henry, Holger Brandl, Naharajan Lakshmanperumal, and Patrick Krolzik from the Computer Department, and a mixed team consisting of Marc Bickle (Screening Facility), Beate Brenner (Grants Office), Debbie Newby (Purchase), and Tony Ashford (Administration). 

The REWE Team Challenge in 2011 expects 6,000 runners - from professionals to semi-professionals to amateurs. But is also a huge charity event: Each team contributes a certain amount of their entry fee to charity organisations and the Ulf Kirsten Foundation.

The run is on 25 May 2011, it starts at 20:00 at the Dresden Kulturpalast, and ends in the glücksgas stadium - any supporters are most welcome to come along.
