Visiting Scientist Guide
The environment at the Max Planck institutes is both open and stimulating – and international: More than a third of the approximately 12,000 scientists hold a foreign passport. "The Max Planck Society is Germany’s most successful scientific organisation in basic research. At Max Planck institutes, being a guest means learning from the best, to achieve your best", says Peter Gruss, President of the Max Planck Society.
But there is more than just scientific work in the labs. So in order to help non-German staff members to settle down and feel at home in Germany, and to handle the daily business of living and working here, the Max Planck Gesellschaft now offers a guide that was just published.
