Tri-lateral workshop for young scientists from Germany, Czech Republic and Poland
You are cordially invited to join the "Tri-lateral workshop for young scientists from Germany, Czech Republic and Poland" on Optical techniques in Cell and Developmental Biology to be held November 30th - December 1st at the MPI-CBG.
The workshop is a third installment of a series of meetings previously held in Warsaw and Poland sponsored by the Max Planck Society. The goal of these meetings is to bring together young and successful scientists from the three countries and to promote scientific interaction in the Central European region.
This year's focus is on microscopy, optical manipulation and image analysis techniques for cellular and developmental biology. We have an exciting line-up of speakers (download program in pdf-version below) and we hope that the topics discussed will be of interest to many scientists in the Dresden area.
We will have 26 talks organized into five sessions (Optical Techniques and Imaging, Image Analysis, Dynamics of Intracellular Structures, Optical Tools for Cell Biomechanics, Imaging in Developmental Biology). There will be posters exhibition throughout the meeting and several companies will present their products relevant to the theme of the meeting on monday. Participating companies are:
Andor Technology Chromaphor Analysen Technik GmbH Cobolt (von Gegerfelt Photonics) Coherent Deutschland GmbH Definiens AG KEYENCE Deutschland GmbH Nikon GmbH TILL Photonics Visitron Systems GmbH Fiji & BioImageXD Imaging Software
We hope to see you in the auditorium of the MPI-CBG next week.
