Stem cell community will meet in Dresden

We would like to cordially invite you to the 3rd International Congress on Stem Cells and Tissue Formation from July 11th to 14th 2010 in Dresden, Germany. This congress is organized every second year by the Dresden stem cell community: the DFG-Research Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD), the Collaborative Research Center (SFB 655) "Cells into Tissues", and the MPI-CBG.

Based on the experiences with the international congresses in 2006 and 2008 we expect about 1000 scientists to attend this exciting meeting from all over the world. In 2010 the conference will focus on stem cells including their niches, reprogramming and the formation of tissues of multiple organs, such as the CNS, pancreas, skin, heart and the hematopoietic system. In addition, we will specifically address systems biology, biomaterials research (the Max Bergmann Symposium 2010 will be part of the conference, emphasizing biomaterials for stem cell engineering), clinical developments in the area of regenerative medicine and cell-based therapies.
