Successful "Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften" 2009

MPI-CBG staff helped to offer the public a great night: Many scientists at stations, a fantastic kids programme team - and all those in the background like the Building Maintenance or the canteen team.

1,400 visitors came to see what we do at MPI-CBG - this a another great success like in previous years!

184 tried their luck at guessing the number of flies in a huge test tube, guesses ranged from 157 to 12 million. The exact number, however, was 6389 flies. M. Laux from Teichland is the winner of a Dresden Card - congratulations!

The Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2010 will be on June 18, 2010.
