Stephan Grill awarded the 2011 Prize for Young Researchers

Prestigious award for measuring the forces that drive cell divisonThe 60,000 euro Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize for Young Grill is awarded the prize for his contributions to measure the forces that drive cell division in living cells. The Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize is among the most prestigious international prizes awarded in the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of medicine. The award ceremony will take place at the Paulskirche in Frankfurt on March 14, 2011, the birthday of Paul Ehrlich (1854–1915). Within three years, the MPI-CBG got two of the prestigious prizes: Eckhard Lammert won the Young Researchers Prize in 2008 for better understanding diabetes.
