News DetailsEnsuring a working environment that is free of prejudiceThe MPI-CBG joined the Charter for Diversity, an initiative that encourages diversity in business companies and public institutions. This initiative is supported by the German Federal government, Chancelor Angela Merkel being its patron. The aim of implementing the Charter for Diversity within the MPI-CBG is to ensure a working environment that is free of prejudice. All of our employees should experience appreciation – regardless of gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion or philosophy of life, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. Tools to cultivate a corporate culture characterised by mutual respect and recognition for each and every individual could be reviewing human resources processes, making the implementation of the Charter a topic for internal and external dialogue, and involving MPI-CBG staff in the implementation of the Charter.
