Kai Simons receives Honorary Doctorate of University of Geneva

The University of Geneva invited five distinguished individuals to receive the award of Honorary Doctor in 2011 - among them Kai Simons, Research Group Leader and Director Emeritus at the MPI-CBG. Congratulations, Kai!

During the ceremony, Dick Marty, former president and member of the Commission on Human Rights at the Council of Europe, shared his views on human rights. American writer and Nobel Prize Laureate Toni Morrison highlighted the difficult balance between the promotion of human rights and those of women.
