Human Chain on February 13

Looking back, standing up. For Dresden.
It is time again for the staff members of the MPI-CBG together with the citizens of Dresden to take a stand together on 13 February to demonstrate that we care about democracy, tolerance, and equality. We will not allow the neonazi scene to occupy and abuse that day for a historical misrepresentation and revisionist history.
Everybody who wants Dresden to be open, cosmopolitan, a city which is aware of the responsibility arising from its history, is invited to join a human chain on that day from 13:00 in the city center. A speech by the Mayor, Helma Orosz, in front of the City Hall will mark the beginning.

The human chain will be a clearer, more successful symbol the more people take part. That is why it is important for everyone to tell their friends and acquaintances, and for everyone to join in.
